Putting a 10 kW scenario into context

A 10 kW array represents 10000 watts of nominal panel capacity. For an illustrative 440-watt panel, rounding up gives 23 panels and 10.12 kW of panel capacity. This is arithmetic for planning, not a roof design or recommended equipment specification.

What to enter in the 10 kW models

Is 10 kW the right size for my property?

The calculator cannot establish that. Ask a designer to assess usable roof space, shading, consumption timing and connection conditions. The panel example above does not account for setbacks, walkways or roof structure.

Why can two 10 kW quotes differ?

Panel and inverter models, roof access, electrical upgrades, monitoring, warranties and labour scope can differ even when nominal capacity matches. Compare those line items before treating a lower total as better value.
